In meditation, a suspension of thought leads you to clarity; the same way this light shows its magic best when lit in the dark.

To create a collection of medicinal mushroom-inspired Lamps exploring material, light textures, and surface textures and catering to all surfaces where a lamp can be just like a mushroom growing on almost every surface.
Inspiration
Exploring the diverse nature of mushrooms I chose different life cycles for every product.

The Mushroom Collection led to me exhibiting at the prestigious Salone Del Mobile 2022 along with being a finalist at Elle Décor’s Edida Young Talent, Lexus Furniture Design Category, Salone Satellite. Invitation to Edit Napoli, Stockholm Design Week.
Learning
Pivoting when your plan is not working as expected is very important
Getting stuck on material for a specific project or an idea because we visualized it a certain way can be detrimental to the project, rather it's important to know when to push for an idea and more importantly when to stop. Pivot as many times as it's needed to find the perfect solution and make the product better it's the best version yet.
Explore materials as much as you can, till you make a library
Feel the material in our hands and look at it with fresh eyes, surprising results come out when we throw preconceived notions out of the window
We as Designers need to work closely with the manufacturing team so the technical considerations are aligned seamlessly leading to a smooth design and production process.

After successfully completing my first collection I took the bold step of promoting the collection through various advertising methods.
My two-pronged approach to advertising worked wonders for the sales. By utilizing Instagram story ads, I was able to effectively showcase the unique products to a wider audience, enticing them to check out your page and website. This method not only allowed me to connect with potential customers on a personal level but also helped build brand recognition and loyalty over time.
Additionally, Google ads to boost my website's visibility were a powerful strategy. By carefully selecting relevant keywords and optimizing my website's content, I was able to secure a prominent position in search engine results pages. This, in turn, increased my chances of reaching interested customers who were actively searching for the types of products offered.
By employing these two methods, I not only attracted different types of customers but also managed to increase sales.
Market Reach
I saw a significant boost in sales since I concocted the marketing strategies to promote the products, with sales almost doubling since the launch of the collection. While I enjoyed the perks of incoming orders for a few months and started deducting the cause of this success.
I concluded that the cost of running ads outweighed the benefits, so I decided to make appropriate changes to the same, for it to work better.
Slowly the sale became regular and eventually, I stopped using ads.
